My recommendation: Make it a night of guilty pleasure. Start with a hot bubble bath, then move on to some melt in your mouth milk chocolate, perhaps a great glass of Merlot, and a white hot short story by Tory Richards that will be sure to deliver the promise of going up in flames.
I was in the mood for a quick story and stumbled upon this gem. It is well written, detailed and sensual. I loved both characters. I will definitely read more from this author!

Passionate Encounters

This is my first Tory Richards book and while I usually hesitate to buy unrated books from authors unknown to me - this was a pleasant surprise. I was looking for a pleasant read, nothing requiring dictionary lookups or too much effort on a lazy day and came across this book. I am pleased to report that this is an engaging story of two people who are not looking for love, but find it none the less. The story is about the relationhip between Emma, who is divorced and not actively looking for Mr. Right, and Mike, a cop and single dad who tries (in vain) to keep his emotional distance from Emma and keep his focus on his 13 year old daughter. While there is no doubt that Emma and Mike have serious chemistry between them, they can steam up a room, or a boat or hallway in no time at all - ahem - the strong and sexy cop tries his very best to keep his emotions out of the action. I won't give away then ending, but the HEA was happy for all. But I must say the ending was somewhat abrupt, although it does not deter me from giving an enthusiastic 4 stars! I will be reading other books by this author.
Guilty Pleasures Books Reviews said...To say these two have sexual chemistry is putting it lightly. They really smoke up the pages, and the hallways, bathrooms, dressing rooms, boats...well, you get the idea. This book is doused with passion and sexiness.
I loved the caring and devoted dad that Mike was to his daughter. It was nice to see that side of their relationship. They were close and you feel the love they had for one another. Emma was easily accepted into the family dynamic and it helped bring the story full circle.
I loved that Emma was a strong character who was able to admit what she wanted, but also understand what Mike's concerns were.
Overall, this is a fast-paced, incredibly sexy love story that is sure to melt your heart.

Very sexy and emotional, although Jake's willingness to believe the worst didn't set right. I supposed we wouldn't have had a story if he hadn't acted the way he did, but still it stung. A don't miss read.

I always love a good mystery and even though we find out who the killer is before the ending, we have to wait to find out how he's connected to the dead man in the office and why he is so fixated on Annie. Added to the suspense and mystery is the humor and quick dialogue. I liked the interaction between the main characters, the constant repartee was highly entertaining. When not talking, Ms. Richards did find other activities to fill their time, and she certainly knows how to describe hot and heavy love scenes in detail when writing about those other "activities." As an added bonus were a number of quirky and charming secondary characters to help progress the story along.

This was a smoking hot read. If you have capture fantasies, this will be a keeper for sure. With danger and disaster looming, the edge of desire is that much more intense and made this a spectacular read.

Reid had been lusting after Alexis for a while, so imagine his surprise when he has to have sex with her as part of his Breathless Surrender opened up straight into the plot, not leaving any room for stalled or dragging moments. Although it was a bit short, the author managed to develop the characters and the plot very well while writing great sex in between. Ranging from oral, to anal, to light bondage, Breathless Surrender had a little bit of everything.

Breathless Surrender definitely left me panting for more of Alexis and Reid's erotic adventure. From the first few lines of this story to the end, I was enthralled with being in the midst of their sexual exploration. Alexis and Reid lusted after each other from the beginning but were unable to act on it. When Fate steps in by putting Alexis in the midst of danger, Reid takes matters into his own hands and gets them to safety. The intensity of their attraction is quite potent, creating such raw and sizzling hot love scenes. The way Alexis and Reid explore each other is so passionate that a battery operated friend is a necessity. Even though the main focus is their relationship, Reid's mission definitely sets up the storyline in order for them to confess their true feelings. The isolated atmosphere when they are in hiding makes the story focus more on our main characters without any interruptions. I love how Alexis and Reid worshipped each other, which made this tale so much more romantic. The secondary characters were minor yet helped to set up the background. I can honestly say I didn't have a hard time imagining myself as part of Alexis and Reid's journey. I wished their story didn't end so quickly. I look forward to more of Ms. Richards' emotionally entertaining and erotic stories.

Veiled Secrets Reviews - 5 dragons! Talk Dirty to Me is a very highly sexually charged story. It'll make your cheeks glow and your desires heighten as you read about each sexual encounter. Lilly does her best to keep a little distance from Blake, but he is such a charmer and gorgeous to boot. She really has no hope of avoiding him wooing her into his arms again. In the bedroom, on the kitchen counter, in the car, on the dance floor, pretty much anywhere.
This fast paced story quickly became one of my favorites. You will be wanting to find your own 'Blake' when you finish reading this deliciously erotic story. Don't miss out on one of the best times I have read about in a while.

I loved this short little story. The characters were real. The imagery was vivid and the story was rewarding from the beginning to the end. This author does an outstanding job of creating visual images of her characters and writing the story in such a way as to make the reader a voyeur on the action. Despite the shortness of this story, it feels like a full novel. The history of the two main characters' relationship is well outlined so that the reader feels like they are stepping into the middle of the unresolved affair between them. The pace of this book is fast. The action just rushes along, taking the reader for a fast ride of passion!

Wow! I found The Cowboy Way to be an outstanding story that I took great pleasure in reading. I was completely captivated by the thrilling suspense and the non-stop, sizzling-hot sexual conflict thriving between Chase and Lacey. As you can imagine, the sexual tension between the couple leads to some spectacular, naughty bedroom action. All in all, The Cowboy Way is a phenomenal read that will curl your toes with blissful, lustful, gripping excitement.

Matt and Maggie have serious chemistry. You feel it as the author describes the scenes and their feelings even outside the actual action. There is a hint of danger running through that injects just enough suspense to keep you reading and invested in what's going to happen next. The secondary characters are interesting and well developed and help to propel the story to its conclusion. Any one of them would make an interesting side story themselves. I absolutely loved how the author could throw in so many scenes that were rife with sexual tension until even you, the reader, says enough already—they justt have to get together!
Wicked Desire is a thoroughly enjoyable story that, although is of the erotic type, really takes a lot of time to develop the plot and the characters so the book is not just one sex scene after another. Outstanding and highly recommended read!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was witty, and cute… Who would ever think that they would meet their true love in a Senior's Community? I thought it was a pretty original premise, or at least one I had never witnessed before.
The characters were fun, and real… …this had a hot and even sweet romance between two people who needed life and the possibility of love to be affirmed for them. A great read and one I would recommend to those looking for a fun read with some added heat.

Tory Richards can write a hot story! It's All In The Jeans is a scorcher, with enough of a plot that it goes beyond being only erotic romance. Libby and Logan both show strong attachments to their grandparents, something that makes them both realistic. They make an agreement to come together for purely sexual reasons but both feel their attraction going to another level. Margaret and Vincent, two seniors who show there's still life beneath white hair, are loveable to the point of distraction. I laughed with them and cried over them, but the tears were pure joy. Tory Richards has written a hot story that shows that love is a good thing, at any age!

So, let me start by saying I laughed my rear off, got lots of warm fussies, and could NOT put this book down until it was done! A totally funny, sexy story that will sizzle and smolder until you don't think you can take anymore.....but then surprise....you can :)
This was the first book I ever read by Ms Richards and am pleased to say it was not the last. I have since picked up a copy of The Cowboy Way. I won't spoil but rest assured I have a review for it waiting in the wings;)

It's All In The Jeans is scorching love scenes, wicked humor and a fun premise. The conflagration between Libby and Logan is nothing less than a three-alarm fire. Have some cold sweet tea and a fan handy because Logan is one of the most sensuous and sexy heroes I've come across in quite a while. Libby is the perfect foil for Logan with her quick wit, humor and sarcasm. I devoured this book. It was equal parts fun and just plain hot with a large dose of heart. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys those qualities in a book. Long life and good health to the self proclaimed 'grandma who writes smut' so we readers may continue to enjoy the fruits of her imagination.

I sincerely enjoyed It’s All In The Jeans! The plot is filled with witty dialogue, sizzling hot romance and a subject matter that will simply pull at your heart. Although, Libby is a sassy, passionate, ambitious heroine she allows the people she cares about to walk all over her. That is until she decides to stop being a pushover and take control. She proves to be the perfect person to heal Logan’s tortured soul and to make him fall in love once again; although, he went kicking and screaming the entire way. Their sexual encounters had me squirming around with heated desire. Whew! Along with spectacular secondary characters who only added more life to this wonderful, humorous storyline, It’s All In The Jeans is one story not to be missed.
