The last couple of years when I've published an ebook I've also offered it in paperback. For some of us there's nothing like holding that book in our hands. For me I just enjoy looking at them on my bookcase, and yes, I do read them sometimes. I'll bring a couple with me when I'm traveling. But I bet what most readers don't know is that authors make more money on their ebooks. Of course I'm not talking about authors like Stephen King, Nora Roberts or James Patterson.
Just to give you an idea what I'm talking about, I've put The Alpha Wolf's Mate in print. It's only $6.99 at around 115 pages. By the time I cover the cost of putting it in print at Amazon, and give them their cut, I make about $2.50 when all is said and done. That's right! I'm not complaining because it thrills me to be able to offer print books to those who prefer them. The truth is I don't sell many paperbacks.
