Mini Vacation

I recently spent a few days away with a good friend and I didn't bring my computer or use my phone once. It felt good disconnecting for a spell however I will admit that I thought about all the emails I'd have to take care of when I got back. I go through about 150 a day, which probably isn't much for some authors. At least most of them I don't need to respond to.

Anyway, we stayed here in Florida, on the beach of course, and spent one day at the Thomas Edison Museum, and the second day at the Ringling Brother's Museum and home. Ate some really good seafood, too! Did a little drinking and let me tell you, by the end of those long, hot days it was welcome. I slept like the dead!

Probably not the best time of the year to go those two museums because a lot of it involved walking outdoors and it was scorching! I was so lame the next days and I told my friend that I thought she was trying to kill me. But overall we had great laughs and a great time.
