Pricey Books

Just saw this on Amazon.

If you love hot muscular bikers, a thriller full of suspense, with bucket loads of action, adventure and dirty sex, then you will love this book.

All that in 22 pages for $2.99? I don't think so! I try to be reasonable when I price my books but I've seen a lot of writers putting stiff prices on very little work. I'm not saying they're wrong or their stories aren't worth it, but I'm not going to pay those kinds of prices. Would you?

I have to agree with you. I think it's the type of thing where if you see a short book for a large price, it must be a pretty good book for you to want to spend that kind of money on it. I, personnaly, don't like spending money at all. That being said, I buy a lot of books. The thing I hate most is when I buy a book and it's terrible.

On another note, I don't like ebooks that are large in file size. I generally go for free books on my kindle. However, being that I have so many, I'm running out of space (and I don't like deleting stuff, even though I know I can get them back). If I see a book that's less than a hundred pages, but more than a few mb in file size, I'll likely skip over it, even if it's free. That's one of the good things about the Kindle app for my computer, though I haven't read much on that yet.

Just my opinion, though.

I read on my computer all the time. I always try to get a PDF file because I can make the font size larger:) Lately I've been doing more reading than writing.

One thing I noticed where the author is asking a ridiculous price for an ebook with very few pages, they don't have reviews because no one wants to spend that kind of money on something they can read in half an hour or less. I also think it's new authors who don't really know how to price their ebooks.

Hey, thanks for coming by and leaving a comment. Have a Happy New Year!
