Baby, It's Cold Outside Blog Hop 3-5
Baby it's cold outside? Not so much here in Florida, however, we do have rain and a drop in temperature in the forecast for tonight. I always look forward to cooler weather. So far this winter season it hasn't dropped enough to even open the windows. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow morning.
What does cooler weather mean to you? A nice fire? Snuggling with your significant other? We have a fireplace in the living room, and haven't used it once in the three years we've lived here. It's not like anyone wants to get romantic with two small kids running around. But it might come in handy some day.
As with most hops there is a grand prize, and this one offers a fantastic 7'' Kindle Fire HDX Tablet! There are quite a few participating authors so please visit their blogs, too, and have some fun!

We are freezing up here in Canada, but used to it. This weather means hibernating, reading and writing, with lots of hot cocoa.
We don't light the fireplace when it's cold like this, because it tends to draw in all the heat from the house, so the room is cozy, but the rest of the house is frigid.
Although, snuggling under a blanket together........... mmmm
Good luck in the hop!
Yeah, a blanket works for me! That way when it gets too hot, we can kick it off! LOL
We had to turn the furnace on here and we live just a little north of Jacksonville, FL. Burrr! Want my warm weather back.

Here in Oregon we've started the New Year with a little bit of sunshine which is rare. There is still rain and some grey so ss soon as the sun shines we grab our dog and walk, just to feel the rays on us through our raincoats and hats.
The beauty of the long grey winters are the green trees and contestant beauty around us…but it also allows for lots of snuggling up with a book for hours on end guilt free.
It's colder than I'd like here in TN but not as bad as some places, y'all stay safe & warm! Awesome Blog Hop with amazing authors! :)
At my house cold weather means snuggling with my husky/lab mix. He is a cuddler and a big ole mama's boy.
No cooler weather here is southern California but I did get up to Big Bear over the holidays and enjoyed some cooler weather and snow. Favorite time, in front of the fireplace with the husband.

I'm from Wisconsin and cold weather was just a way of life. I moved to Tallahassee and south Georgia and loved the warm weather but missed 4 seasons and white Christmases. Now we are in Kentucky (10 years now) and it's perfect...not too cold and not too hot. When it does get cold, I get under the covers with my dog and read to my heart's content!

Would love to have a fireplace that never needs using! It's definitely been a cold one here. I'm thankful for my electric blanket. :)

Using the fireplace today...to stay warm as this blizzard hits us. Loving it!! The first year we moved into our house we didn't know how to use the fireplace. Now I can't imagine not using it every winter. I love it.
