Red Velvet Cake. I have a very easy recipe for it that I'd like to share:
Easy Red Velvet Cake

1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 1 oz. Bottle Red Food Coloring
1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
1 ¼ cups Water
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
3 Eggs
1 9 X 13 Baking Pan
1 can Cream Cheese Frosting
(Betty Crocker Original Cream Cheese Frosting)
Cooking Spray

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Spray baking pan with cooking spray.
3. Put all liquids & the eggs into a large mixing bowl and stir until mixed.
4. Add the cake mix.
5. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
6. Pour into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
7. Let cool completely* & frost with the cream cheese frosting.

Cake is done when a knife inserted into center of cake comes out clean.

*To cool faster, put pan into freezer for about 15 minutes.

Have a wonderful Christmas. Thanks for the chance to win. <^_^>

Ya'll are making me hungry! Some of your responses about home made goodies reminded me of the fried apricot pies my mom made. They were so yummy and very time consuming to make. I can recall many fights over the last one because she only made them once a year.

Got a chuckle out of Rhianna's cranberry sauce response. I've seen my son-in-law open a can and sit down and eat the whole thing right out of the can! We all love it in this household.

Thanks for sharing your red velvet cake recipe Nay Nay! First time I had it was at the Cheesecake Factory. Their red velvet cheesecake is to die for. Will have to try your recipe.

Ham, cookies, home made fruit cake and fudge, pies, are all a must for the holidays! And I'd love to try Braciole, kruschiki, Apricot Kolacky's, ginger biscuits, and chruschiki. They all sound so yummy!

Thank you all, for leaving your comments and I wish you all good luck on winning the grand prize. I'll be back!
