Less is More

Do you believe that? I was sitting here in my woman-cave, thinking about all that I've had over the last thirty-five years. And what I have today. So much less. My decision. When the kids asked me to live with them I was very clear that I wouldn't unless I had my own living area. They needed their space as much as I needed mine. So when they purchased their house there was more than enough room for all.

My woman-cave is perfect for me and my 4 felines. It takes me all of one hour a week to clean it. I didn't want clutter so I only kept the furniture I needed. I'm into low maintenance these days. I don't have to worry about bills, lawn care, cleaning windows, replacing the roof, or anything else.

My life is very simple right now. And I intend to keep it that way. Life is too short and I'm going to do everything within my power to live it the way I want to live it, and have fun doing it.

So for me, less is more:)

Debbie...I like where you're coming from and totally understand. I try to follow "simple" myself but am not as far along in the process as I'd like to be...meaning I need to loosen up my nostalgic hoarder gene;) ~Nancy

Oh yeah friend. It's so hard getting rid of something that means something to you. You almost feel guilty. I find it helps if I give away those things to family and close friends who I love. Then I know they will be taken care of:)
