My little granddaughter brought tears to my eyes this morning. She spent the night with me and when we woke, we sat cuddling in my chair talking about Christmas and Santa Clause. I asked her if she'd seen Santa yet and she said no, but that he got her letter. So I asked her what she asked him for. She proceeded to go down a list in her head. Finally she said, oh and a TV stand for you. I was touched. I said, you asked Santa for a TV stand for me? You're so sweet, I told her. She then said that she knew mommy and daddy weren't getting anything for sure, because Santa only brought gifts to kids and grandmas:)

So sweet. I love those little Granddaughters. I have a sweet little one named Julia. And she chased a cat from the yard. "YahYah he was looking really hungry. I could see birds in his eyes. And I know you love thise birds."

I don't have grand kids but occasionally remarks from my grand nieces are passed on to me. That lets me appreciate funny and sweet things that come out of these babes mouths.

Debbie...I mentioned that there is another great nephew or niece on the way this spring. Found out recently that it will be another great niece. So far both Mom and baby are doing great. Mom's in the high risk category so each milestone is encouraging. Since your daughter was also in that category you know what I'm saying.

Emily is ecstatic about getting a new that her Daddy will be outnumbered 3 to 1. This from a five year old! I'm down with that, however, since it was 4 to 1 in my family. Actually, my Dad loved it:)

LOL...Alivia loves my furry critters. It took a bit for my calico, Gin Gin to get used to her, she used to scrowl at her:)

I have a bird feeder outside their window and they sit and watch the birds eat all day.

I WAS partial to girls, Nancy. I'm happy to hear mom is doing well. When is the baby due?

My son-in-law wanted a boy so bad, and he got his wish as you know. He said there were too many ovaries in the house. Alivia, on the other hand, can't wait to paint Mason's little toes! LOL
