Well, I don't believe it. I just heard it was still 70's degrees in Florida. Maybe you're in Northern Florida It's 10 above zero here. Now that's cold.
I joke with my mom. She's in Orlando and she'll say "It's too cold!". To which I reply "What? is it 70? Do you have a fire going in the fireplace?" Though I was in Orlando years ago and it got so cold the heat went out from everyone using their heat and we had to sleep under several blankies. Just checked my phone and it's 38 degrees here in Va Beach. I'm away for a nap. lol!
I'm in New England and I was shocked to find out that Florida has the same temperature as us. The people on vacation must be going nuts.
I want to move back to New England. *sigh*
It's freezing here, too.
Just found you on authorisland.com love your blog and the hot men. Being in nj its pretty cold so I can just imagine living in Fl and not being used to cold weather.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrr...are you kidding, diva donna? You must be way up north. When I got up this morning it was 45 degrees and the morning before it was 31...that's cold! Today only got up to something like 55 degrees. It will warm up by the weekend but I don't care, I love the cold:)
I lived in Orlando for most of my life. Cold weather is great sleeping weather. I get up sometimes at 4:00in the morning to get ready for work, now that's hard! Especially when I'm beneath a mountain of quilts and three little warm bodies:)
Yeah, I think everyone has the idea that Florida stays hot all year.
Where are you Jane?
Hi Jodi, welcome! Author Island is a cool website, huh? I've been a member for a few years.I went to NJ a few years ago with the hubby. We went to the Boardwalk.
Currently 18 degrees here in Fairfax, VA. I'm not pleased. ~Nancy:)
Tory, I lived in Orlando off and on from '85 to '98. Lots of memories....Nancy, I'm in Va Beach. It's cold and I like it! :-)
@Meljprincess. *Grin* How did you feel about our snow blizzards last year? You don't live that far away. Years ago I had relatives living in the Hampton, VA area so as a kid we visited frequently and included trips to VA Beach.Generally people fall into two groups...either snow or beach. You might have guessed that I'm in the beach group:DMy all time favorite beach (so far) is Sanibel Island, FL because of its shells and non-commercialization. It's located across the causeway from Fort Myers...on the west coast of FL.
