baby? I'm here at my daughter's today, spending time with my little granddaughter. I decided to clean up the kitchen to help my daughter out. As I'm doing the dishes it got me to thinking, there's three adults living in the household, why is it only her responsibility to clean up? She works 40 hours a week, too.
I'm wondering what it's like for other households. My hubby and I have a deal, he takes care of the outside and the cars and I'll do the inside. However, he's great at doing the dishes and laundry. I really appreciate coming home after working all day (he's retired) and not having to do them. I bet there's a lot of women out there who would love having less to face at the end of their day, or work week.
It really doesn't matter if you work or not. It's equality. If you're both using the dishes, making dirty clothes, etc., then what would it hurt if you shared in those chores?
I mean, it's not like men have to open the door for us anymore:)
