Vacation Here I Come!

Yippie! Two more days of work and I have a week off. And it's a good thing I'll be busy attending the RT Convention next week because my hubby is driving... me... crazy!

He's the most intelligent person I know and there isn't much he can't do, but this computer thing seems to be beyond his scope of understanding. I think a lot of it has to do with his advanced age. He's trying so hard, going to computer classes and everything, but he doesn't have the patience for it. And...he's like the kid who says, "why?" all the time. He wants to know everything and he wants to know it yesterday.

I don't mind helping him but I honestly think this is one of those things he's just not going to get. And I do get tired of jumping up out of my chair after the 7th or 8th time in half an hour. But, knowing him, he won't give it up.

Unfortunately, I might lose my mind in the process. Ahhh...the things one does for love:)

Hi Tory! You have a great time at RT. Some day I'm going to get there. I'm looking forward to hearing about your trip when you get back.

My mom just wouldn't learn to use the computer. If I was on, my mom would lean over her and read and say 'Tell Cathie this and that' She also hated answering machines and wouldn't leave an answer on them. LOL. I don't know if she could have done it or not but she wouldn't. LOL. Good luck Tory :D

Actually it's a trip down the road, housemouse88, which is one of the reasons I'm going. Didn't have to put out any money for a hotel:)

Hi Caffey!

Maybe she was afraid? I don't like leaving answers on answering machines because I'm afraid I'll say something stupid.

I'll blog about my adventure at RT, maybe daily. And hopefully post some pictures.

Debbie...Have a great time. Will look forward to hearing all the deets on your return.

The Hubs may surprise you...eventually:) Particularly if he's determined. You know how it goes sometimes when we're learning something new and not getting it...the day finally comes when it suddenly clicks. Your sanity, however, will remain questionable....Nancy

I don't know if I'll last that long my friend. Patience isn't my middle name. I don't mind helping him. It's just that half the time he'll wait until I'm sitting down and all settled in my chair with my lap top when he'll call me.
