Thanksgiving Pictures

Here are the pictures I said I'd share with you. Taken Thanksgiving Day, the family picture is of me holding Alivia, my dad, daughter and niece. My daughter's father, otherwise known as the ex, took the snap shot. Daughter's hubby had to work. My hubby was still in MO with grandson and family. I know it sounds weird but it all worked out.

We always enjoy getting together. Wish it could be more but dad lives in TN. At least I can see my daughter, granddaughter and niece on a fairly regular basis.

What a beautiful family...I married a man with 3 children and an ex-wife...Because of the children we became a blended family. Our daughter grew up calling the ex and her new husband Aunt and Uncle..Like I told my husband - you can never have enough family..After 28 1/2 years of marriage, I count his ex and husband as really good friends..I am truly blessed. Merry Christmas

That's a sweet story, Kimberley. I think it takes special people to be able to welcome ex spouses into their families as friends.

I never had a problem with my hubby's ex-wife but he didn't want any part of my ex-husband. Come to think of it, I didn't want any part of my ex-husband either:)
