Sunday Stories

Well, here I go again folks. Put my house on the market a couple days ago. I swore the last time we moved it would be the last time for me. Well, thanks to the rise in gas prices and living so far away from work, we've decided to move closer to my job.

Unfortunately now isn't the greatest time to sell your house. We bought a sign with a plastic holder for flyer's and I put ten of them out there the other day. Couldn't believe when I got home today the darn thing was empty! On top of that, we got a call from someone who wants to see the house tomorrow. Wouldn't it be funny if we sold it this soon? The last time we had a house on the market it took two years!

Keep your fingers crossed the people coming over tomorrow night like what they see, don't quibble over the price, write us out a check and give us 60 days to find a new place. Don't want much, do I?

Hope you get lucky.

It may be no consolation but I think everybody in countries around the world who is tryiong to sell is having problems.

Blame it on the world-wide bank meltdown.

Good luck on selling your house. What I reall wanted to comment on is the cowboy picture you have posted. You are so right, naked doesn't always mean better.

Debbie...Maybe you'll luck out. Ten flyers disappearing is a good sign and a requested viewing so soon is like some kind of miracle in this market ~ I'm amazed. Will hold good thoughts for you....Nancy:)

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Although, I wasn't sure what buddyt meant until I read the whole comment:) I kind of got stuck on the first sentence.

I just put out 10 more flyers and the people who came by really liked the place but who knows. Money talks and I didn't see any of that. I'm not in any hurry anyway.

Lynda, I couldn't agree more. Sometimes it's nice to have a surprise, hence the head shot:)
