My hubby went out of town for the day and when I came home from work later that evening I found the outside door unlocked. I couldn't believe it! Granted, we live in a nice quiet retirement community but still, anything could have happened. So when he finally makes his way home at around 9:00 that night the first thing I say is,

"I found the door unlocked when I got home from work today."
He barely glances at me. "Was anything stolen?" Not an inkling of concern.
"No," but I'm thinking to myself, that's not the point!
"What's the problem then?"
I couldn't say anything. He was right. But I was still mad inside at what could have happened! LOL

Debbie...I just added It's All In The Jeans to my TBB. Whoo-wee...sounds like my kind of read. Also, your WIP "The Cowboy Way." I like romance with an attitude and that you're an author close to my age bracket.

I understand where you're coming from re your hubby's response to the open door but I gotta tell you, the longer I live the more I tend to adopt that attitude myself...why stress myself out over something that didn't happen. What can I say?:)

Hi Dina, great to have you back!

Thanks Nancy, you made my day! I hope you enjoy "IT'S ALL IN THE JEANS" and I ah, hope you like hot:)

"THE COWBOY WAY" is also hot and will be published under Tory Richards. That's if I get a contract offer. Haven't submitted it yet.

I see your point about the door. Things that used to really bother me don't so much anymore. And, I used to be such a neat freak. I still like clean but don't stress over things not being exactly in the right place anymore.

Debbie...I absolutely like HOT! along with a good story and strong characterizations. Can we say Kate Douglas, Lacey Alexander, Lora Leigh, Nikita Black (aka Nina Bruhns)to name just a few of my favorites. Flat out I'm a romance junkie and is why I read and wallow in the fantasy world of books. It's so decadent and delicious...particularly at this stage of life:)

I can relate to that Nancy! Although I read more when I was younger, now I write it:)
